Arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA)
Upon arrival in Tanzania, you will be met by your personal guide, who will accompany you throughout your trip and provide helpful assistance. Immediately you will go to the Nyerere national park. In the afternoon you will go on a boat trip on the beautiful Rufiji River. You will see many hippos, crocodiles and a variety of birds. You can also admire the sunset from the boat.

Game drive in Nyerere national park
You will spend the day in the park. Your guide will show you rare species such as wild dogs, sable antelopes, black rhinos, but also crocodiles and hippos. You will have lunch in the form of a picnic in the national park, surrounded by the wilderness. In the evening, you can take a one-hour tour to a nearby village to see how the villagers live there.

Walking Safari and Return Trip
After breakfast at camp in the morning, you will start the day with a bush walk at sunrise. Walking safaris are a fantastic way to get close to nature and learn more about the smaller species and the bush itself. It is an unforgettable experience to walk in such a vast and untamed area of the nature reserve. The hike takes about 2-3 hours. After returning to camp for breakfast, you will make your way to Dar Es Salaam.
