• 01

  Arrival & drive to Aberdare National Park

  Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, meet our representative and driver for a short pre-safari briefing. You will drive to the lush foothills of snow-capped Mount Kenya and on to Aberdare National Park. After lunch, explore the park and the impressive Zaina Waterfalls. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

  Thompson Waterfalls and departure for Samburu

  After breakfast, drive to Samburu via Thompson Waterfalls. There you check into your camp, relax a little and then set off for the evening safari. Samburu National Park, although lesser known, is bursting with life. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

  Game drive in Samburu National Park

  After breakfast, explore Samburu National Park. Despite its remoteness, the park is home to the “Big Five” and rare northern species such as the Gravy’s zebra or the reticulated giraffe. Over 450 bird species are native to the area. You will spend the whole day exploring the park before relaxing around the campfire in the evening.

  Rhinos, Chimpanzees & Co. in the Ol Pejeta Sanctuary

  After breakfast, you will drive to the Ol Pejeta Conservation Area. You will visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and a protected region for black rhinos. The safari shows giraffes, zebras, elephants, buffalos and over 500 bird species. Optional activities include night safaris, nature walks or bird watching.

  Flamingos at Lake Nakuru

  After breakfast and a leisurely morning safari in Ol-Pejeta, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its flamingos, white rhinos and Rothschild giraffes. After arrival and lunch, embark on an afternoon safari. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

  Off to the Masai Mara

  After breakfast, drive to the Masai Mara, Kenya’s best game reserve, rich in animals and birds. See gazelles, zebras, giraffes, hippos and more than 450 species of birds in their wild glory. After check-in at the camp and lunch, you will go on an afternoon safari. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

  Full day game drive in the Masai Mara

  You spend the whole day in the Masai Mara Game Reserve with morning and afternoon safaris. Optionally, you can visit a Maasai village or take a hot air balloon safari. Discover the breathtaking wildlife and the fresh, natural landscape. You can get up close to nature on a guided walk. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

  Full day game drive in the Masai Mara

  After breakfast, enjoy another full day in the Masai Mara Game Reserve with adventurous morning and afternoon safaris. Explore a different region of the reserve, discover new species of animals and enjoy the natural beauty. In the evening, return to the lodge for a leisurely dinner to end the day and share the day’s experiences. Overnight stay is at the lodge.

  Hippos at Lake Naivasha

  After breakfast, travel to Lake Naivasha. In the afternoon, an adventurous programme awaits you with a one-hour boat trip and walking safari on Crescent Island. You will have the opportunity to observe giraffes, buffalos and colobus monkeys and spot hippos in the shallow water. After an eventful day, you return to camp for dinner. In addition to this programme, you can optionally book a safari hike at Mt Longonot or a walking/biking safari in Hell’s Gate National Park.

  Relax on the lakeshore and drive to Nairobi

  After breakfast, enjoy your free time on the lakeshore. Spot pelicans and kingfishers, and observe African fish eagles in the trees. Optionally, you can book additional tours before returning to Nairobi to the Sarova Panafric Hotel.

  Nairobi National Park

  After breakfast, your guide will take you on a 5-hour tour of Nairobi National Park. You will look for lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes and other animals. You will also visit the ivory burning memorial, the David Sheldrick elephant orphanage and feed giraffes at the giraffe centre. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

  Farewell

  Today, after breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you will have your transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
